| Treatment Provided: | acute strain of lateral L foot yesterday during a match. I attended with Medic who suspected fracture and insisted on Ice, Immobilisation, NSAID and referral for Xray. Today patient returned feeling better but unable to weight bear, bruising along lateral aspect of L foot. TTP along 5th MT. Tuning fork test not indicating fracture. pt did NOT have Xrays. treatment provided. gentle manipulation of talus and calcaneous. drainage tape L foot. |
